Biography

Carrianne Hnatowicz - Designer

Carrianne is a freelance designer with 20+ years experience in the design industry. Has worked as Packaging Production Artist for Marketing By Design (currently working on the Home Depot Brand) and Matthews Brand Solutions. Prior to that, she was the sole designer at First Boston Pharma (formerly, NurtaMax Products). During her 13 year post with the company, she was responsible for design and production for all private label packaging & labeling accounts, maintaining the corporate identity and supported the sales/marketing staff with sales materials, digital photography and 3D mock-ups. Prior to joining FBP, she held a Graphic Artist position with
The Phoenix Media/Communications Group (PMCG)
. Where she was a member of the advertising art department for The Boston Phoenix Newspaper. She designed advertisements and collateral materials for various clients including PMCG owned radio station, WFNX - 101.7 FM.

She also has done volunteers design work for The Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (seARTS). seARTS.org aspires to re-establish Cape Ann as a world-class center for working artists. Carrianne designed their Annual Meeting newsletter.

Carrianne has a BA in Visual Arts with a minor in Psychology. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pine Manor College. She has continued her education often attending courses at local colleges to stay current with new software and will soon finish a Web Design Certificate Program through Salem State University. Computer aided design is only but a part of Carrianne's creative talents. She love painting, drawing and photography. Born and raised on Massachuestts North Shore, Carrianne currently lives with her husband, Scott, in "the witch city" of Salem.
